Invisalign Clear Braces Are Discreet
What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign technology uses a series of custom-made, clear and removable aligner trays to gradually shift teeth over time. Invisalign uses the right amount of pressure to perfect your smile. Whether teeth are crowded, too far apart or shifted after wearing braces earlier in life, Invisalign can fine-tune your smile without the discomfort of braces. Invisalign is suitable for adults and teens.
What’s the Invisalign Process?
At your first Invisalign appointment, we’ll use scanning equipment to take impressions of your teeth and to create 3D images of them.
You’ll wear a series of clear plastic custom-made trays (aligners) for up to 22 hours per day, to discreetly straighten your teeth. Invisalign uses proprietary SmartTrack® material to move teeth in a controlled manner with less pain compared to traditional braces. You’ll need to come see us every four to six weeks for office visits for your next aligner.
Can I Eat with Invisalign?
Unlike traditional metal braces, there are no wires or brackets to worry about. The aligner is removable, so you can eat anything you want, brush and floss normally, and participate in activities, such as sports. If the aligner is interfering, simply remove it temporarily. As long as you wear the retainer for the majority of the day, this will not interfere with results.
